HAY There! (TESC153)

Hay there!  I just finished my card for this fun Taylored Expressions sketch challenge (deets here!):

Here's my take on it:

I used TE Green Acres in each of the little boxes, popping the little cow couple up with foam dots.  I used some old DCWV glitter green paper as the first layer, PTI kraft embossed with an old folder, and some Twinery Peapod twine.

I also used TE's It's a Banner Day 1 outline stamp and matching die (decorated with some brown pearls) along with the "Hay there!" sentiment from Green Acres.

Have a mooo-velous night!   ;)

February 2012 SFYTT - Your Next Stamp

Here's my card for the February SFYTT, sponsored by Your Next Stamp!  I used Bubbly Fun Fhiona & Bubbly Fun Accessories on this card I'll send to my sister.

I used a new polka dots embossing folder along with the Swiss dots embossing folder, and lots of glitter for this girly card.  There's Stickles in the bubbles, around the bubbly circle, and bling in the accent circles.

I'm having uploading issues, but will have to add additional pictures tomorrow - the inside is cute too, with a little rubber ducky.  :)

TCPTUES197 - Anything But a Card

This week's TCP Tuesday challenge is elementary - Anything But a Card!  Somehow in the midst of a cold, I came up with a little Easter decoration using The Cat's Pajamas - A Beary Good Year.  I don't have any egg dye so this is just a normal egg, but I'm picturing this little cup being used to hold a dyed easter egg (perhaps at each table spot for Easter dinner?) or a Cadbury egg treat.

The first step was to take a 3 oz bathroom cut and cut the top half off - enough to hold the egg in place, but too much cup to decorate.   I then used TCP - Grass Cut-Ups die to cut two layers of grass to wrap around the cup.

Using several eggs from A Beary Good Year, I decorated the grass all around the cup.

Including an egg underneath whatever you fill the cup with.

Lastly, I cut out the bear and colored him (all coloring done with Bic Mark-Its), gave him another egg to hold, and cut out the little Easter basket also included in the set.  I cut the basket handle off and replaced it with a little Brown Sugar Divine Twine, and both the bear and basket are adhered with foam pop dots.

National Scrapbooking Day!

I spent yesterday churning out pages to wrap up this book I'm working on, partly to celebrate NSD but mostly in prep of Mother's Day.

Bella Blvd is giving away an awesome prize pack in honor of NSD, and you can enter to win here:  http://networkedblogs.com/hzRA8
